Joanne A. Apodaca

President and Chief Executive Officer 

Joanne is a dynamic leader, senior manager and problem solver with over 25 years demonstrated success in operations, strategic planning, human resources, organizational and logistical administration. She has supervised, managed and led the operations with multi-million dollar construction projects. A collaborative team builder, as well as an insightful analyst with superb communication skills, she is adept at communicating across the complete spectrum of organizational levels.

Joanne has guided the company in delivering exceptional contract performance and customer satisfaction. She has led the company in establishing and managing numerous complex, multi-year projects as a prime contractor, joint venture partner and subcontractor. Her leadership and vision have allowed the company to assist company clients to achieve their stated intent with minimal risk and optimal efficiencies of internal and external resources.     

As president of Westport Construction, Joanne has overseen the successful completion of more than a hundred construction projects across a wide spectrum of markets.  Joanne manages the firm’s construction consulting services which helps to ensure Westport’s clients both timely project delivery and risk mitigation.  

As Chief Financial Officer, her responsibilities include all aspects of financial reporting, taxes, cash and banking, accounts payable, accounts receivable & billing, risk management & insurance. Additionally, Joanne oversees day to day functions and personnel for Westport. She manages all administrative and human resources, including recruiting, payroll, hiring, benefits and headcount budgets.
